The Mountains are Calling

YOGA Wellness Retreat

October

28-30

A weekend in the woods to relax, unplug and recharge. We are offering a hassle-free weekend of yoga, massage, arts, healthy food, hiking, and plenty of downtime to curl up with your favorite book, drink tea and listen to the quiet sounds of the Adirondacks. The perfect combo of relaxation, activity, fun, food, and laughter! We want everyone to leave the mountains feeling refreshed and nourished.

Through Yoga, one can find a deeper connection to themselves and their environment. Movement, meditation, breathwork, and play are all integral parts of a healthy lifestyle; Yoga is a practice that facilitates these activities. During this retreat, you will practice tools that can help mitigate the stress of everyday life. The magic of the waters and mountains of the Adirondacks are the perfect setting to reawaken after the winter. You will leave feeling alive and refreshed!

Kristin Dowling

E-RYT 500

Kristin is an E-RYT 500, as well as New York State licensed Massage Therapist. She has been studying and practicing yoga for over a decade and loves to share her passion for yoga and wellness with others. She enjoys all styles of yoga but is particularly drawn to Hatha Vinyasa as well as Restorative. She began teaching in 2017, realizing the healing power of yoga and how it could help so many others as it has helped her. Her classes are described as fun, compassionate, and welcoming. She often uses gentle massage and adjustments to encourage her students to deepen their practice and connect with their bodies. She hopes to continue growing her yoga community and encouraging as many people as possible to give it a try.

Noelle Odell

RYT-200

Noelle is a 200hr certified yoga instructor. She obtained her Yoga Alliance certification in Thailand at Marina Yoga. Noelle enjoys teaching many styles of yoga, including Hatha, yin, restorative, and vinyasa. Her classes are described as Gentle and Grounding. She started practicing yoga to manage pain from old injuries and improve her Jiu-Jitsu. After practicing regularly, she realized that yoga is a valuable practice with benefits far beyond the physical body. Yoga is the practice she needed to create balance in her life.

“I hope to create calm energy through my teaching that facilitates valuable practice. Yoga is challenging in many ways. Through breathwork, asanas( yoga poses), and yoga philosophy, I believe we can get to know ourselves and our environment deeper. Yoga can be used to mitigate the mental and physical stressors of everyday life.”
